All information is the same except the date. We will only offer the hike on Saturday this year.</div> <bR> <div> The Tour/Hike will begin at The E.H. Montgomery General Store in the village each day at 1:30PM. The Rail Trail is a protected property of The Land Trust for Central North Carolina. It was developed in partnership with The Historic Gold Hill and Mines Foundation, Inc. and was protected by the Land Trust in 1997 by fee simple acquisition. The 6.92 acre property is an important historic site and provides an area for recreation. </div> <bR> <div>  Hikers will get a lesson in history as the trail passes sites and landmarks in Gold Hill Mines Historic Park.
