It was developed in partnership with The Historic Gold Hill and Mines Foundation, Inc. and was protected by the Land Trust in 1997 by fee simple acquisition. The 6.92 acre property is an important historic site and provides an area for recreation. </div> <div>  For questions about land protection and conservation opportunities . Be sure to contact a member of the Land Trust Staff at 704-647-0302.</div> <bR> <div>  Hikers will get a lesson in history as the trail passes sites and landmarks in Gold Hill Mines Historic Park.
