Be sure to enter the kids in the Little Miss and Mr. Gold Hill Contest !!!

We're proud to announce more additions to this year's event in the Heritage Living Area.  The Civil War Living History
Encampment area has been increased and an adjacent area will also include Heritage Living Exhibits , Demonstrations  and more.
Anyone having interest in displaying wares in this area should call 704.267.9439.  Spaces are available on approval.

The 63rd North Carolina Troops, with added support from the 38th North Carolina Troops, will again host a Skirmish between the North & the South at 4:00PM on the lawn behind the Log Barn.
The troop is pictured below firing a volley during the Founder's Day Parade.  

Founders' Day Parade will begin at 10AM - Lineup starts at The Gold Hill Fire Department at 9AM.

There's Food, Fun and Entertainment for all ages throughout Gold Hill Mines Historic Park.

The Heritage Living Area includes creative artisans like Steve Martin demonstrating wood turning
and Jim Sabo 'Jeeps Forge' demonstrating Blacksmithing


Be sure to visit all the shops in the Historic Village of Gold Hill during the festival. The stores have an assortment of gifts including original art, fine home decor, antiques, floral arrangements, homemade baked goods, hand crafted metal art and more. The E.H. Montgomery also serves hand-dipped Hershey's Ice-Cream and sodas. The Stamp Mill Cafe in the village also offers an opportunity to dine in a relaxing atsmosphere.
