The Filing Station at Gold Hill was moved to the village from US Hwy. 52 at Gold Hill. It was the Original Home of Service Distributing/Service Oil.

J.J's Produce, located in the old Lineberry-Loflin home, offers seasonal fresh fruits and vegetables grown right here on the farm in Gold Hill.
The Village Arbor is available for small gatherings, weddings, family outings and meetings. It's a rustic setting with picnic tables, overlooking the farm pond located
by the restaurant parking area.  The arbor also has restroom facilities for the village.

Come spend a weekend with us. Helms Lodge offers nightly or weekend rentals. The new addition  to the village sleeps ten and is fully furnished.  Visit during one of our event weekends for added fun.   For rental information call: 704.267.9439
\While you are here, enjoy Friday night bluegrass at the E.H. Montgomery General Store. The woodstove inside keeps it warm in winter or bring a lawn chair and sit out on the sidewalks in spring, summer and fall months. The music is year-round. Enjoy a long neck bottle soda, ice cream and other delectable tasty treats! Come early and enjoy dinner at the Stamp Mill Cafe.


We dress in period on Saturdays and you will find a downhome friendly atsmosphere everywhere you look here at Gold Hill.

The E. H. Montgomery General Store hours are:
Thursday 11am - 4pm
Friday      11am -9pm
Friday evenings 7:00PM - 9PM  Live music - Come join the music or just sit and listen. Some of the other shops are also open late on Friday nights.
Saturday     11am - 5pm
Sunday         11am - 5pm
Or by appointment - We're only a short drive away. Give us a call and we can meet visitors at the store within a short time with advance notice.

Educational tours of the 70 acre Gold Hill Mines Historic Park are available by request as are tours of the village.
Gold panning can be arranged by request with the tours of the park.
The Gold Hill Rail Trail also provides the opportunity for hiking and/or biking.
