The photo on the left was taken on an Easter Sunday around 1900. The store was approximately 60 years old at the time this photo was taken.</div> <div> Still today folks enjoy meeting at the Montgomery. The folks who visit weekly are just like family. Make us your first stop in the village. We're just what you're looking for. </div> <bR> <div> <B>We're the Information Station for History Brochures,</B> Trail Maps for Hiking/Biking on the Gold Hill Rail Trail as well as Gold Hill Souveniers, Gems and Minerals. We even have Gold Samples and Miners Assay Bottles with real 24 carat gold inside. If you're interested in a lesson in Gold Hill history or just have a few questions, ask for Vivian. As local historian, she heads the Education Committee and serves as Vice President of the Historic Gold Hill and Mines Foundation, Inc. </div> <div> <B>Don't forget to ask about Tour info.
